On July 12th, Lyu Yue (Aluna) attended the joint show of China-Korea-French designers in Paris at ESCP Europe.




ESCP Europe Business School (École supérieure de commerce de Paris Europe) advantageously locates in the 11th arrondissement, which is the only renowned business school settled in the centre of the city. As one of the top business school in Europe, ESCP Europe is devoted to prepare transcultural business leaders.

 

This is the third time of Aluna to display her works in a show in Paris. One was a cultural project called “99 Paris China Cultural Week”, the other was an open show for her personal brand. An academic activity this time is to attend the 2019 Global Fashion Management Conference at Paris, an international forum about Fashion Management and Marketing, hosted by GAMMA (Global Alliance of Marketing & Management Association).

 

           

Two joint shows of Aluna in Paris, when in 1999 accompanied with other selected Chinese fashion designers, while this time as the only designer represented China.

 

In Aluna, “Different national and cultural characteristics would present out unconsciously to construct the diverse cultures in the world. It might be that because of the typicality in my works, so the executive board invited me to here.”

 

Aluna brings a collection in strong colours that mainly in linen decorated with knitting. In the style of minimalism with contrasting colours, the work is Fruitful.
