The Extension of Silk——Fashion Art Exhibition
"The Extension of Silk——Fashion Art Exhibition" would open at Suzhou Silk Museum on 18th of May, 2018, also known as the International Museum Day. Six Fashion Art artists would adopt innovative approaches combing textile, weaving, tailoring, and reflection of traditional Chinese history, painting, and geography. With silk threads, Fashion and Art are connected, artworks are metamorphosed as absorbed from traditional silk weaving and embroidering technics, which is marvelous and moreover contemplating. Silk as the medium, one hand with Fashion, the other with Art. This exhibition records aesthetics of the era that you and I are dwelling in.
