四川美术学院服装系副主任 硕士研究生导师，重庆服装设计师协会理事，重庆市美协设计艺委会委员，中国服装设计师协会成员，英国伯恩茅斯艺术大学访问学者。

主要研究领域时尚设计、服饰艺术，重点研究传统材料与技艺的传承与创新，传统夏布材料的时尚化运用。主持传统夏布的时尚研究国家级项目，获国家艺术基金青年艺术创作人才项目。作品入选新西兰世界可穿着大赛，第十一至十三届全国美术作品展，北京国际设计周，第九届全国手工艺展，第十一届从洛桑到北京国际纤维艺术双年展，天然染色展等，致力于传统材料在当代时尚中的传承创新。

从夏布织造技艺的解构、夏布的再造、衍生产品设计三个环节进行研究，为现代的设计创作提供丰富的创意源泉，试图用设计为传统工艺找到更广阔的生存空间。重点在于运用现代的设计思路和时尚的设计理念，将夏布与其它材质和传统技艺相结合，如扎染、蜡染、刺绣、编结、首饰制作等进行艺术品创作和夏布作品的系列设计，研究传统夏布元素在当代设计中的运用，并服务于生活。

Researching into the deconstruction of weaving technology, fabric reconstruction and derivate product design of the Grass Linen，provides the major source of the inspiration for modern designer to build various creative designs and makes traditional craft to exist the space more vastly. Applying modern design and fashion design concept to combine materials and traditional crafts to the Grass Linen. Some methods of tie-dye, batik, embroidery, knitting, to do design. The research results of applying the Grass Linen’s traditional element to modern contemporary design, serve our lives.
