Dr Guoxiang Yuan is an Associate Professor at College of Fashion and Design, Donghua University. He is also a textile design advisor at China Menswear Design Trading Center, member of World Crafts Council-Asia Pacific Region, member of Surface Design Association. He holds a Ph.D from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a M.A. and a B.A. from Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology. His research is focused on fashion design innovation, material surface treatment, and brand management. His works were exhibited over 40 venues in China, Japan, Thailand, UK, France, Italy, Spain, USA and Philippines. He got over 10 design awards including Junichi Arai Award
